In the CURE pathway, when smokers are admitted to hospital they are provided with a smokefree flyer. This provides brief advice, the contact details of the CURE service as well as introducing smoke free site information at the point of admission.

When smokers are visited by the CURE team they are provided with an information leaflet ‘A Helping Hand’ that provides information on tobacco addiction and its treatment as well as signposting to further sources of support and information.
